International Business Company Law

The International Business Company Act 2005 sets the framework for the incorporation, regulation and supervision of IBCs in Anjouan. The new legislation is flexible, innovative and user friendly, and allow business to be carried out in an efficient manner.

Formation of companies

Application for an IBC shall be submitted through Anjouan Corporate Services Ltd to the Registrar of International Business Companies on the prescribed application form together with the necessary due diligence documents below. The law states that companies registering or licensing in Comoros must appoint a local representative or registered agent, who in turn must have the specific authorisation to engage in such business.
The only current authorised agent is Anjouan Corporate Services Limited.
